Great spot to enjoy Iceland's calm and quiet. Gorgeous place, terrace for relaxation. Beautiful inside. Kitchenette, seats, table. New units with a good view and location. Comfortable stay, with a fantastic view of Kirkjufell Mountain.

The location of these cottages is absolutely perfect! the view of the mountain range and the famous Kirkjufell is beyond beautiful, especially in the mornings. We also loved the opportunity to hike into a calm and magical valley behind the cottages. the cottages themselves are very cozy and the small but well-equipped kitchen is a great feature. Highly recommended for a 2-night stay while exploring the Snæfellsness peninsula.

the check-in process was simple and the staff was very communicative. the cottage itself was well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything I needed and a comfortable bed with good quality linens. the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was watching one of the most beautiful sunsets of my life from the balcony. a fantastic choice for accommodation in the area. Cons: Everything was spot on! 👌.

We had an incredible stay at Dis Cottages in Grundarfjordur! The breathtaking views of Arrowhead Mountain from our cabin were absolutely amazing. We loved sitting out on the private patio, enjoying a meal while taking in the stunning scenery. The cabin itself was comfortable and well-appointed, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. It truly was one of the highlights of our 12-day trip to Iceland. The owner communicated with us effectively and made sure everything was in order.

The location of the cottages was absolutely stunning. Being almost on the coast line provided breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. the full length windows allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view of the water and farm, and even catch a glimpse of the northern lights. having a kitchen with necessary amenities like a microwave, fridge, sink, and coffee maker made it easy for us to heat our own meals, saving us time and money.

We encountered a few drawbacks during our stay. there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, which made it difficult to keep our toiletries organized.

The floor to ceiling windows let in so much natural light and the little porch was the perfect spot to watch the stunning sunset. The kitchenette was a pleasant surprise with a stock of coffee waiting for us. The owners were also very thoughtful, providing us with a helpful information sheet about the cottage and local attractions. we had a wonderful stay at Dis Cottages and would highly recommend it.

There were a couple of minor issues that we encountered during our stay. the hot water ran out quickly, and we had to wait for about an hour before it became hot again.

We were looking for a peaceful retreat and this hotel was perfectly located, away from everything. The west-facing views offered us breathtaking sunsets every day, and we could have even witnessed the northern lights if we were lucky. The owner was incredibly responsive and quickly fixed an unexpected power outage in our cottage. The newly built facility had modern appliances and a great design that allowed plenty of natural light. It was also conveniently close to various attractions in Snaefellsnes. The hosts were exceptional, providing clear instructions for a late arrival and following up with a thoughtful thank you after our stay.
